Valérie Itey Named Among the TOP10 Women Entrepreneurs of the Year in Catalonia

This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding female founders who are making a meaningful impact through innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship across Catalonia.

A Recognition of Vision and Impact

In the 2026 edition, a distinguished jury selected ten exceptional entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of business and innovation in the region. Among them, Valérie Itey, representing CLIC RECYCLE, was honored for her leadership in advancing sustainable recycling solutions and driving circular economy initiatives.

This year's awards also mark an exciting milestone, with Barcelona Activa—the economic development agency of the Barcelona City Council—joining as a main partner in the initiative.

Awards Ceremony at 4YFN During MWC

All winners were recognized during a special ceremony held on March 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mobile World Capital Barcelona stand at 4 Years From Now (4YFN), part of the global technology gathering Mobile World Congress.

The event brought together the jury, partner organizations, media, students, and industry leaders to celebrate the incredible talent and impact of women entrepreneurs across Catalonia.
