Supporting Women Innovators and Regenerative Leadership

07/11/2025

At CLIC RECYCLE, our mission extends beyond developing regenerative materials — we also invest in the people and communities advancing climate-positive change. We are proud to share that our Founder & CEO, Valérie Itey, has joined the FAO & International Agri-Food Network (IAFN) SME Mentorship Programme as a mentor for the 2025 global cohort.

Through this programme, Valérie will accompany a French-speaking woman entrepreneur from Africa over a nine-month mentoring journey, supporting the growth of her agrifood business, strengthening market opportunities, and fostering leadership confidence. The initiative empowers women founders who are building solutions for climate resilience, food systems transformation, and community development.

This commitment builds on CLIC RECYCLEs recent mentoring role with the GSMA Women Innovators Programme, where Valerie supported women leaders from the MENA region who are transforming their local ecosystems through innovation, circularity, and social impact.

Across Africa and the Middle East, one message consistently emerges:

  • Women are driving climate and community solutions.

  • They deserve equitable access: mentorship, networks, investment, and visibility.

  • When women grow, entire ecosystems shift.

At CLIC RECYCLE, we believe that regeneration is not only ecological — it is also human and economic.
By supporting women entrepreneurs, we help seed resilient, inclusive, and locally rooted climate innovation.

We are honored to contribute to this movement — one relationship, one project, one empowered leader at a time.
