Opening New Doors for Spanish AgTech in Germany

23/06/2026

For startups developing sustainable technologies, expanding into a new market is about far more than introducing a product—it is about understanding different business cultures, identifying the right collaborators, and learning how innovation is adopted within a new ecosystem. This was the foundation of the 2026 edition of Programa Desafía AgTech Germany, organized by RootCamp – A SpinLab Company, Red.es, and ICEX, which brought together Spanish AgTech startups for an immersive experience across Germany's agricultural innovation landscape. As one of the participating companies, CLIC RECYCLE was proud to be part of this initiative, using the opportunity to explore how its circular approach to transforming human hair waste into regenerative environmental and agricultural solutions could contribute to one of Europe's most influential AgTech markets.

Throughout the program, participants travelled through Madrid, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Hannover, engaging with investors, innovation hubs, corporate leaders, researchers, and fellow entrepreneurs. Conferences, ecosystem visits, expert-led sessions, tailored business meetings, networking opportunities, and Demo Day created an environment where ideas could be challenged, knowledge could be exchanged, and meaningful connections could be formed. For CLIC RECYCLE, these experiences provided the opportunity to present its technology, gather valuable feedback from international stakeholders, and gain a deeper understanding of Germany's priorities surrounding regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and circular resource management.

Perhaps the greatest value of the program extended beyond the events themselves. Every discussion offered a new perspective on how innovation is developed, evaluated, and implemented within a different market. By engaging directly with experts and potential collaborators, CLIC RECYCLE strengthened its understanding of Germany's AgTech ecosystem while refining its vision for future international growth. The experience reinforced that successful expansion is built not only through innovative solutions, but through listening, learning, and establishing relationships founded on shared goals and long-term collaboration.

As Programa Desafía AgTech Germany 2026 comes to a close, CLIC RECYCLE reflects on an experience that has broadened its perspective and strengthened its commitment to driving sustainable innovation beyond Spain. The knowledge gained, the conversations shared, and the connections established throughout the journey have laid the groundwork for future collaboration and continued growth. We extend our sincere thanks to the organizers, mentors, partners, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders whose expertise and support made this experience possible, and we look forward to building on these relationships as we continue advancing regenerative solutions for agriculture and the environment.
