We are proud to share that CLIC RECYCLE has been featured by Green Assist for our work transforming hair waste into regenerative, technology-enabled materials that protect ecosystems and support climate resilience.

Every year, tonnes of human hair are discarded as waste. At CLIC RECYCLE, we see this resource differently. Founded in 2020, we collect hair waste from salon networks across Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands and transform it into two nature-based product lines:

CLIC SEA™ — Protecting Oceans

Biodegradable biofiber barriers that adsorb hydrocarbons and heavy metals in marinas and coastal areas, helping ports reduce pollution while providing real-time water quality data.

CLIC TERRA™ — Regenerating Soil

A smart biodegradable mulch that restores soil health, increases water retention, boosts biodiversity, and replaces plastic-based agricultural films, while offering agronomic insights to farmers.

Both product families demonstrate the power of a truly circular economy—where waste becomes a resource for regeneration.
