CLIC RECYCLE Joins the 3rd Edition of StartBEC to Advance Innovation in the Bioeconomy

10/03/2026

We're thrilled to share that CLIC RECYCLE is participating in the 3rd edition of #StartBEC, the program led by AINIA and the Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación to foster technological development and strengthen the emerging bioeconomy ecosystem.

The program aims to boost innovative value chains in the agri-food sector, support entrepreneurship, and nurture talent. This year, seven new startups—including Blauver Foods, CarbonX, FourStrain, ODS Protein, OMIX Circular Technologies, Organic Sanna, and CLIC RECYCLE—will take part in the initiative.

Program Launch Event

The event kicked off on February 18 at AINIA, where we celebrated the official presentation of the new startups. The day was inaugurated by Isabel Bombal Díaz, Director General of Rural Development, Innovation, and Agri-Food Training at MAPA, alongside Cristina Del Campo, Director General of AINIA, and Andres Pascual Vidal, Director of Innovation.

We also had the privilege of learning about the new European Bioeconomy Strategy from Guillermo Gea, representative of the Directorate-General for Environment – Bioeconomy and Sustainable Materials at the European Commission.

CLIC RECYCLE's Role

At CLIC RECYCLE, we transform hair waste into sustainable agricultural products such as biodegradable mulch, fertilizer, and compost. Participating in StartBEC allows us to share our expertise, collaborate with other innovative startups, and drive circular bioeconomy solutions forward.

We are proud to join forces with other program participants to advance sustainability in the agri-food sector, create new value chains, and promote entrepreneurial talent.
