Clic Recycle at the Posidonia Green Festival 2026

On 2 October, Clic Recycle took part in the Posidonia Green Festival 2026 in Barcelona, an eco-festival dedicated to marine protection, sustainability and environmental education. The Barcelona edition took place in Plaça d'Hilari Salvadó and brought together organisations working on the sea, biodiversity, science and the circular economy.

As part of the festival, Clic Recycle ran an educational and creative activity for children and families, introducing them to the principles of recycling and circularity through hands-on activities.

One of the activities was a small demonstration of the CLIC SEA™ decontamination barrier, using water and cooking oil to show how keratin-based materials can interact with and help contain hydrocarbon pollution in water.

The session also encouraged children to explore sustainability through creativity. Participants could paint, make collages and work with wool, turning the learning experience into an opportunity to experiment with materials and express their own ideas, creating ways to talk about waste, pollution and circular solutions with younger audiences.

Thank you to the Posidonia Green Festival!
