Clic Recycle presents its project at the International Forum on AI for Ocean and Coastal Territories in Biarritz, France

Clic Recycle was greatly honoured to present its project at the International Forum on Artificial Intelligence for Ocean and Coastal Territories, held during the first three days of June 2026 in the French city of Biarritz. The forum is organised not only by the city of Biarritz, but also by the Waves of Change Coalition and the French Ministry for the Ecological Transition.
Clic Recycle's presentation at the International Forum highlighted the enormous potential of keratin waste from hair salons as a highly useful resource that can and should be transformed into regenerative materials designed to support both coastal infrastructure and adaptation to rising sea levels.
Clic Recycle fully shares the forum's goal: encouraging collaboration and the exchange of ideas between startups and other players in the sector. This collective approach creates an essential platform for accessing investment, promotion and development opportunities, strengthening the forum's ability to show how artificial intelligence and innovation will play a key role in modernising the sustainability of the planet's oceans and coastal areas.
The solutions Clic Recycle presented at the forum included biodegradable physical barriers capable of controlling pollution, as well as other biomaterials designed to effectively protect marine flora and fauna and help conserve coastlines. Although the value of Clic Recycle's waste-to-resource method does not yet receive all the attention it deserves, we remain firmly committed to showing how this comprehensive approach to innovation can make a significant contribution to the fight against climate change.
