Al Andalus Innovation Venture Finalists in Sevilla

01/10/2025

Last week, CLIC RECYCLE was proud to take part in Al Andalus Innovation in Sevilla – one of Spain's leading events for scaleups and open innovation. Held on 24–25 September 2025, the event brought together over 300 investors, CIOs, corporations, and more than 70 of the most promising startups from across Iberia.

For us, being there was more than just attending another event. It was about connecting with a vibrant community that shares our mission: transforming waste into valuable resources and demonstrating that circular economy solutions can make a real difference. Sevilla, with its rich history and forward-looking spirit, provided the perfect backdrop to showcase how innovation and tradition can work hand in hand to tackle environmental challenges.

Highlights of Al Andalus Innovation

A strong focus on future-shaping sectors: cleantech, agrotech, foodtech, health, biotech, AI, green hydrogen, fintech, insurtech, traveltech, and cybersecurity.

Renowned speakers and thought leaders from top corporations and funds sharing their insights.

A unique platform positioning Sevilla as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in Iberia.

Real opportunities for collaboration, investment, and partnerships that accelerate sustainable and technological transitions.

CLIC RECYCLE at the Event

We were honored to be one of the finalist startups and to have our own stand where attendees could learn about our work firsthand. Our founder, Valérie Itey, also took the stage to pitch CLIC RECYCLE, sharing our vision and how we turn human hair waste into sustainable solutions such as biodegradable mulch for cultivation and smart sea decontamination barriers.

Being part of Al Andalus Innovation allowed us to tell our story to a wider audience, connect with investors and partners who believe in sustainability, and exchange ideas with other entrepreneurs driving impactful solutions. It was an opportunity to expand our vision, explore new collaborations, and accelerate the shift toward a circular economy.

We are grateful for the opportunity to participate and excited about the collaborations and initiatives that emerged from Sevilla.
