Download our application to have all your information, services, and impact analysis in one place, making it easy to see how much hair waste your salon has saved from landfill, as well as the water and electricity usage and savings. Receive news and education directly in the app shared within the Clic Recycle community.

4. When all waste bags are full they are collected by CLIC RECYCLE.

5. Through your preferred subscription, new waste collection bags are delivered to your salon so you can keep recycling.

Our planet is home to an exponential resource of 8,1 billion people. Every year, 2.2 billion kilograms of hair waste is generated globally from hair salons and ends up in landfills or is burned, causing significant harm upon our environment.

When human hair waste is disposed of in plastic bags and ends up in landfills it produces methane, a powerful greenhouse gas that is released into the atmosphere. When human hair waste is burned it also releases extremely toxic gases which worsen air quality. Furthermore, hair waste can clog drains and waterways, impacting our health.

Human hair can be recycled and converted into new products with many uses, but they require hair to be disposed of in a responsible way in order to mitigate environmental risks.

Through our recycling service and waste management system, hair waste is processed into new products to minimize the negative impact on the environment.

A Green Fee is an optional additional fee of 1-2 € charged to customers which can cover recycling solutions for hair waste produced in the salon. Together, with our seal, it can show customers that your salon is contributing to a sustainable practice, satisfying existing customers and gaining new ones.
